A half-page picture of CiCi is displayed in "Makin' Style', a new print fashion and lifestyle magazine from Guyana. The picture of the "Jazz Artist of the Year" features CiCi in a stunning dress from Kartushe Boutique.  (Check out page 37 of the online magazine here, or picture here.)

CiCi performed at the new Naniki Caribbean Jazz Safari show in January 2013 at the Errol Barrow Day Jazz Picnic.

CiCi has won Jazz Artist of the Year at the 8th Annual Barbados Music Awards on January 13th, 2013.  CiCi also performed at the Awards Show which was held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre in Barbados.  (See picture here.)

CiCi, was nominated for the 8th annual Barbados Music Awards Jazz Artist of the Year by an online vote-in on Facebook in October 2012.  Thank you to all fans who voted for CiCi to be nominated!

As of September 2012, CiCi is back in Barbados and can be seen at some of the finest venues on the island.  She has formed a new band with Kerry Wendell Mason, David Carnegie, and Richard Evans.

CiCi was honoured to sing the (bilingual) Canadian National Anthem a capella at the 16th annual Immigrants of Distinction Awards in Calgary on March 16, 2012.  (See pictures here and here.)

CiCi, nominated for Jazz Artist of the Year, proudly took the stage at the Sir Garfield Sobers Sport Complex to perform during the 7th Annual Barbados Music Awards on December 18th, 2011.  (See picture here.)

CiCi headlined a Christmas jazz show December 10, 2011, at Unity of Calgary church.  It was a remarkable evening featuring Caribbean-influenced Christmas songs.  (See picture here.)

CiCi has been nominated for Jazz Artist of the Year at the Barbados Music Awards.  She will be performing a song at the Awards show at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown Barbados on December 18, 2011.  CiCi is also scheduled to appear at the Global Industry Gala at Limegrove in Barbados.  (See picture here.)

CiCi rocked the Beat Niq jazz club in Calgary for two sold-out nights!  On Fri. Sept.30th 2011 introduced her new band featuring her long-time Calgary pianist Bruce Petherick, Brendan Rothwell, and Jon McCaslin.  That night was capped off by an audience member's marriage proposal on stage!

The next night was "Barbados Night" in Calgary which featured Mount Gay rum, and was attended by a representative from the Barbados Tourism Authority and members of the Barbados Canadian Association of Calgary.  Read full coverage from the Bajan Sun newspaper here.

On Valentines Day 2011, CiCi returned to perform at the Waterfront Cafe in Barbados (where she had been performing weekly for over 20 years).  It was a great show with Roger Gittens on piano, Elvis Edwards on bass, and Vere Gibson on drums.  A packed house and a vocal trio with Kim Derrick and Tamara Marshall made the night truly memorable!

CiCi just finished a couple of hot nights in Ottawa at end of November 2010.  Even after arriving late at The Clarendon on Friday night due Air Canada flight delays, she managed to slip in a few songs before that night was over.  The next night was an energetic performance to a full-house at Club SAW.  CiCi's musicians for these shows were Eddie Bullen, Rob Christian, Rodney Appleby and Aaron Spink.

At the end of May, 2010, CiCi performed for the Barbados On The Water Festival at the Harbourfront Centre in Toronto. The heat was on that night as she played with Eddie Bullen, Andrew Stewart, Maxwell Roach, and Rob Christian.

August 2009: Look for CiCi to be appearing around Winnipeg as a guest vocalist, and also on the radio on 92.9 KICK and on 101.5 UMFM.

CiCi returned to a packed-house at the Beat Niq to celebrate the Canadian release of her new album "Live at the Beat Niq" in Calgary on July 25th, 2008.  (Read review here.)

While in Barbados during the winter of 2007/08, CiCi had a appeared as a guest vocalist at a couple of private parties, the Hilton a couple of times (see picture here), and the Waterfront Café (see picture here).

On September 15, 2006, CiCi sang the blues as a guest vocalist with the Jazzmatiks at a Burn Care for Kids Blues Benefit at Quincy's in Calgary.  (See picture here.)

On Saturday September 9th, 2006 CiCi opened the free outdoor C-Jazz Carnivále event under beautiful weather conditions. Performing on a make-shift island in the middle of a large pool at Olympic Plaza in Calgary, CiCi delighted the large crowd of young and old alike. (See pictures here and here.)

CiCi took the Calgary’s Beat Niq jazz club by storm on Wednesday, September 6th, 2006. “I’ve never seen anything like this in here before!” blurted an unnamed staffer at the club. CiCi was playful on stage, interacting with both the band and the audience. The band was especially hot, inspired by the room and the soulful vocalist they were backing, each member showcasing their talents with many extended solos. CiCi and her Quartet closed the show with a unique arrangement of “That Old Black Magic” done with a samba beat that resulted in the audience clearing the tables and dancing!  (See pictures here and here.  Pictures also on the CiCi Jazz Quartet Biographies page.)

CiCi dazzled downtown Calgary during a free noon-hour performance on Tuesday, September 5th on Stephen Avenue’s pedestrian walk for the start of the annual C-Jazz Festival. As usual, CiCi’s voice caught the attention of the multitudes that walked by, distracting them from their errands during a sunny and warm afternoon. CiCi blew the house away during her performance on Tuesday August 8, 2006 at Mona Lisa's in Winnipeg.  Local radio icon Howard Mandshein, who interviewed CiCi on air the previous night, hosted the event.  A few of her loyal fans who have seen her over the years in Barbados were in attendance.  (See picture here.)

While in Barbados in early 2006, CiCi treated audiences as a guest performer at the Waterfront Café, Sugar Hill, Hilton Barbados, and twice on the Freewinds cruise ship.

CiCi was the recipient of a Cornerstone Award for her contribution to the Barbados music industry.  Awards were presented at the Barbados Music Awards on January 8, 2006.  The awards are similar to Canada's Juno awards or the U.S. Grammy awards.

CiCi appeared at the Dorchester Hotel in London, England, with the VSOP Dixieland Jazz band for a private party on July 9, 2005.  Also appearing on stage at the party was world-renowned singer Madeline Bell.
